Review: Clerks 2
We watched Clerks 2 tonight. Daniel had lots of comments but didn't feel the movie was "good enough" to earn the place as the inaugural post for this blog. I think that's a silly notion and I'm going to write a review, albeit a short one because I don't have that many comments and it's late.
The beginning of the movie started out slow and was frankly annoying to watch. Some of the jokes played on too long and the introduction was rather disorienting. The script started getting better about half way through, and even the editing seemed perkier. There were many parts of the movie that I'm sure some people would find deeply offensive, but I found to be rather tastlessly amusing. Overall, not as good as the first but still worth seeing.
"Clerks 2" gets a rank of 7/10 for a good effort and a unique plot with not too many aspects dragging it down.
